verse 1: "Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me..."
Luk 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
verse 1: "... for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast."
God has wings :)
Holy Ghost :)
Christian trusts in the Lord, not in himself.
verse 2-11: I see Jesus' story in them...
I especially like verse 7: "My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise."
We have corrupted minds and hearts - minds are not working and neither hearts work - feel - are not compassionate. But the Gospel changes them, corrects them, fixes them.
Before you are not able to sing to the Lord and give him praise - but when your mind and heart work as they should - you can :)
You are fixed about that - this will not change...
